who is kat?
Kat Haddad is a sports broadcaster with experience across Optus Sport, SBS, Network 10 and Paramount+. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication with a broadcast media major, she brings both on-camera presence and a behind-the-scenes understanding of producing and writing across the full media landscape.
Her broadcast credits include the FIFA Men's and Women's World Cups, and A-Leagues (men's and women's), as well as work across the English Premier League and Spanish La Liga. Most recently she hosted AFC Women's Asian Cup matches for Network 10 and Paramount+, and served as sideline reporter for Triple M at the NRLW Grand Final in 2025.
Deeply passionate about rugby league, Kat is currently producing and presenting NRL content with Rugby League Guru and hosts her own podcast Footy In Focus - an NRL news podcast alongside Isaac Issa the Journalist. She has built strong connections across the game and previously served as media manager for the Lebanese Women's Rugby League team. She has also worked with brands including Nike, Footlocker, Sportsbet and MINI, plus many more.
Arab-Australian with proud Lebanese, Egyptian and Irish heritage, Kat is Spanish-speaking and committed to representing diverse communities both locally and globally. A loyal Liverpool FC and South Sydney Rabbitohs supporter, her love of sport on and off the field drives everything she does.
